Dump the Frump Challenge #1

Today's Challenge: Get dressed all the way. Get out of your pj's and into clothes that you would be ok to be seen in if surprise company showed up.

One of the great things about kids is that they love to be on your lap, so besides hearing about the challenge you will get to see my little love who only distracted me just a little at the end when I almost said "In Jesus name I pray" instead of bye LOL! I hope you enjoy the video and I would love for you to let me know what you thought of my first outfit and I would also love for you to share yours!

You are SO stinkin' cute, Anna! I just finally got dressed today (at 1pm). I'm not nearly as cute as you are - your outfit looks adorable - I just threw on a pair of yoga pants and a long-sleeved tee. But, at least, I am dressed!

In Jesus' name indeed haha very cute Anna :) (This is Christa, by the way.) Well I'm here to say that I slept in this morning till NINE!!! OY! But, I did do my workout while the boys were doing some independent school work and I showered and I'm in a nice brown turtle neck sweater with a pair of jeans. I have to go in right now and put on my face and pull my hair up so it looks nice. You know that I love this challenge. I think it's important to try to do a little something with yourself, for yourself and for your family! :) My hubby doesn't need me to look like a model, but he does love it when he comes home and I look put together. As for your outfit, you look adorable, but then you always do! :) I used to wear skirts more often, you just may encourage me back into skirts again haha! I love to wear my pretty frilly apron many days also, it is so pretty that it dresses up any outfit I'm wearing. I am considering sewing an even fancier one, we'll see... Anyhow, thanks for the challenge, love it! Can't wait to see the next one.

I think it is very cute. I would wear this Anna.

My husband says it looks very feminine and nice too. There you have it...

Heidi- Whatever, you are adorable and you have had a rough couple of weeks so I wouldnt blame you if you did stay in your jammies all day!

Christa- I know my DH sure does appriciate me looking pretty for him and who doesnt love it when their DH comes home and compliments you on it?! I don't usually wear all skirts but I thought for this week it would be perfect since I am going for ultra feminine. I might do another challenge with pants at some point.

Rachel-Aww tell your DH thank you very much :) Thank you for your compliment as well!

You do look absolutely adorable! I'm a tiny bit jealous of your tee shirt and skirt - I've been in sweaters all week. On Monday, my husband was home, so I got to sleep a little bit late, and then take extra time to get ready. I took full advantage and looked rather nice, if I do say so myself!

I loved your video Anna - now I feel like I know you a little better, and I love that! I am guilty of not getting dressed in the winter time. It is a bad habit, but my pj pants are just so stinkin warm, ya know?! Your outfit, however is gorgeous, as are you! I'm catching up on all of your Dump the Frump posts. Thanks!

Jodi- It is SO hard when it is cold! My life saver...tights or leggings. Makes everything so much warmer. Also, and dont laugh. I will grab my clothes and shove them either under the blanket with me or in the dryer for a few moments to warm them up. Its much easier to change when what you are changing into isnt frigid LOL!
